Warzone: Iron Wolf II features overhauled movement mechanics. The game features a new parkour remniscent of other first-person parkour games. This is explained in-universe by the addition of minor thrusters on the combat suit to apply some extra force to the user.

Players cannot change direction in the air, except from some mild land-assist control after the Enhanced jump. They can change walls while wallrunning, but only if the momentum is still high enough.

Passive Mechanics[]

  • Momentum - While sprinting, the player’s momentum goes up and his speed increases. Maximum momentum allows players to wall run.
  • Parkour - Mantling height and speed is increased from previous entries, as well as new automatic mantling system at certain points during sprint and wall running.
  • Clamber - The booster pack allows for grabbing higher edges by climbing a short distance on vertical surfaces.
  • Combat Readiness - Weapons are ready during mantling and no slide accuracy penalties.

Standard Movement[]

  • Enhanced Sprint - The leg and back thrusters allow for increased sprinting speed in comparison to former entries.
  • Enhanced Slide - The back thrusters allow for an increased slide, both speed and distance, as well changing direction while sliding through the use of the back and arm thursters.
  • Wall Run - Once momentum is right, the player can wall run for a set period of time, with momentum decreasing overtime until he falls off.
  • Enhanced Jump - Holding down the jump button increases jumping height, as well as increasing aerial time. Has to be recharged.
  • Wall Jump - Jumping straight (45 to 135 degrees) against an unscalable wall allows players to jump in 180 degrees with increased height.
  • Edge Hanging - Players can slowly walk off edges to hang on the edge, ready to drop from above or hide from plain sight. Can also be used when Clamber is activate but the player pulls backwards, making him not finish the climb but rather holding on to the edge.
