The Vector ACP is a versatile submachine gun, with a high rate of fire while keeping an low recoil due its unique gas system.

CampaignEdit

The Vector ACP is an uncommon weapon in the campaign, mainly wielded by Shade members.

MultiplayerEdit

The Vector ACP will be useable in multiplayer right from the start as the default SMG. It has a unique integrated Select Fire Attachment being able to switch between its Over-gassed and standard fire rate. This makes it much more flexible compared to its cousins for tackling close and medium distances respectively.

The standard fire rate is akin to the Vector CRB from Call of Duty: Ghosts with a slightly higher fire rate. It is much lower than average and controllable for short to medium distances and competitive against Assault Rifles with the  second-longest range of any SMG, losing to the Onyks.

Recoil is mild in standard mode, easily manageable even without a Foregrip, however it is possible to get out of hand if the ACOG Scope or Targeting Sight is equipped. An optic such as the Reflex or EOTech is the better option if wanting to combat at longer distances. These Assault Rifle traits combined with its SMG class, mobilty and ADS time make it useful and negating the necessity for handing attachments such as the Quickdraw Handle or the Collapsed Stock. Options like the Foregrip and Suppressor can provide instrumental help in reducing kick and improving accuracy.

In its Over-Gassed mode, the fire rate is obviously increased and makes it much more dangerous in close quarters. Recoil will instead steadily climb upwards, so aiming slightly down while firing can keep it relatively good on target. In both gas modes, the number of bullets required to kill remains the same, but its range decreases and recoil increases when in the Over-Gassed option.

There is an electronic display on the weapon's left side that can still be visible when aiming. Toggling the select fire button will switch. STND and OVER, indicating Standard and Over-Gassed respectively. This feature serves to show which fire mode is displayed and is not affected if the player is hit by EMP attacks.
