The SVDK is a Russian sniper rifle featured in Warzone: Iron Wolf.

Iron Wolf: HavocEdit

The SVDK appears in Iron Wolf: Havoc wielded by Typhoon snipers. They attempt to fire upon the Predators at Kuala Lumpur, but are quickly killed by Prophet.

Warzone: Iron WolfEdit

"Weaker than most of the other sniper rifles, the SVDK makes up for it in controlled fights. The weapon calls for much more efficient accuracy than its cousins. Always be ready to put a second shot into your enemy should the first one fail to kill."
―In-game description
The SVDK appears in both campaign and multiplayer.

The SVDK is unlocked at default. On offer, it has the lowest damage, only being a one shot kill to the head and upper chest. The low damage makes it a very obsolete weapon and not a favorable one to use. However, in the right hands, it can be a very effective weapon, requiring a lot of skill to be used correctly. The recoil is very low and open for following shots. Due to this, many players utilizing the weapon will frequently fire two shots in succession regardless if the first one is a lethal headshot. Reloads can be lengthy, but even when empty, it isn't that much longer, so keeping it topped off shouldn't be a priority.

It is considered a medium point for having traits of both sniper and the unavailable marksman rifles in the game. Equipping the ACOG Scope can turn it into a powerful medium ranged battle rifle, however it will kill in the same number of shots as the Mk 14, but the latter has better handling characteristics. Since targets usually are killed in two shots, the SVDK is one of the best weapons to equip a Silencer with. The attachment grants covert benefits and the number of shots to kill remains unchanged.

Some players dislike the chevron style scope that is included by default. This can be adjusted with the Thermal Scope, Variable Zoom or ACOG Scope.

Weapon AttachmentsEdit

  • FMJ Rounds

TriviaEdit

  • On Veteran difficulty, the SVDK has the potential to kill in one shot, making snipers in Walking Through Caracas and 121 Stories the most dangerous enemy in the campaign.
