"Ah, the infamous Kalashnikov rifle. Light wooden furniture with an easy internal structure. It's cheap, reliable and deadly in the right man's hands. "
―Description by Nato.
The AK-47 is the most common assault rifle in Dark Half 2. It mostly appears in the hands of african militia and resistance fighters.

InformationEdit

The AK-47 is widely used by african soldiers and mercenaries. It's the cheapest assault rifle available to buy and you can find many being dropped by killed enemy forces. One major drawback is that most picked-up AK's are filthy and jam pretty easily. However, you can easily restore the jam, compared to other assault rifles.

The AK has overal high damage and good penetration, making it a good weapon to tackle large groups of enemies and armored soldiers. It's the most average weapon, as it excells in most engagements. The fire rate is somewhat low and the recoil a bit harsh, but those can be managed easily.
