Fractured Soul is an Open world, action role-playing game designed by Lukas Griff, developed by NanoWare Industries, and published by Blizzard Entertainment for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Mac OSX and Microsoft Windows. The game is set in a fictional world called Errovis in the middle of a civil war and uses the new DTA-Overdrive Game Engine.
It was unofficially announced through a leaked video trailer two days earlier than expected, so NanoWare decided to showcase the trailer on December 16 2015. With the trailer out 27 hours earlier than expected, the team decided to let NanoWare Canada to tie up the loose ends. Through the end, no more spoilers were revealed and the progression of the games release began to go smoothly.
By using the engines "Helix System", FS is able to experience next to no lag and hold up in its frame rates. The game is widely considered the innovation of its genre thanks to the graphics and constant action, yet was also called out for its faulty AI and straightforward gameplay.

The game is played through the view of Grim, a mysterious adventure who woke up in the middle of a battlefield with no memory with a grinning skull faceplate being his only possession. The game takes place in an unknown world in the fictional continent of Errovis, a civil war between the Sovereign`s forces, the Primal Forces of Terra (PFT, or simply Primal) and the citizens of the continent is reaching the breaking point. As the story progresses and Grim learns more about his existence, he discovers ancient secrets and how his destiny was already decided centuries ago.
