Campaign[]
The CT G2 is found in Cloak of Darkness, Independence Day and Vulcan's Fury, being wielded by enemy marksmen.
Multiplayer[]
The CT G2 is the last marksman rifle capable of being unlocked at level 48. Due to its smaller size compared to its peers, it has a few unique aspects. One, it has a slightly higher mobility at an increase of five percent.
In its class, the CT G2 has the lowest recoil, a high rate of fire and the lowest damage, dealing a two shot kill at its most effective range. Any other shots at a distance will yield a three shot kill. Ideally, this weapon is best used with a mobility mindset. Remaining in the same place can yield good results, but other marksman rifles and snipers are more suited to the role. It has the smallest ammo capacity. Combined with its high fire rate will find ammo quickly drained.
